A new craft-themed blog; my previous house was getting a little shabby and crowded.

I’m a knitter, a spinner, a scientist, and a generally happy person. I like calculating out the theoretical ways a project could work out, then losing the calculations and seeing what happens if I play. You’ll probably see a lot of technical posts about how to get a particular effect, and then watch as I happily end up with something else entirely.

I live in upstate New York, in the USA, with my husband and cat.
